D.I.Y. Trek
April saw Rentokil Initial purchase the first Trek Torsion walk behind scrubber drier system for the new B&Q store in Folkestone. After seeing the machine in action at the cleaning show in March, Mike Billany placed an order for a 28” machine becoming the first person in the UK to buy a Trek Torsion Scrubber drier.
Mike said “After a number of years of little innovation in scrubber driers this machine caught my eye both in terms of manoeuvrability and tank capacity. We are always looking for any new ideas, particularly performance related, and a new B&Q store is a perfect place for us to put it through its paces and evaluate it".
The Trek offers a unique combination of a very large 110 litre water capacity allowing large areas to be cleaned in one highly productive pass, this coupled with its articulated design and light steering system allow the Trek to be as equally effective in tight and congested areas.
Premiere FCM believe this combination of high productivity and agile handling make the Trek the ideal machine for the Retail sector, which due to its nature of maximising display and sales space often results in what is a large area clean on paper actually being rife with tight corners and narrow walkways in reality.
